Baldwin County Board of Education, Education Technology (ET) Department supports, Providing educators & students with tools (devices) to advance student learning and create learning spaces that are designed to increase student engagement.The Chief Technology Officer and the Education Technology Staff is dedicated to collaborating with the various departmental, schools and  the community in providing a rich, integrated and secure electronic environment in which to educate students.

ET will go beyond providing utility-like services and will provide innovative services that will allow the institution to expand and grow.  ET will focus on academic achievement and student success and not technology.  At ET we put education first! Through a collaborative environment, will work towards enhanced student outcomes while helping to control costs by standardizing and consolidating when and where possible, while allowing schools the autonomy necessary to support thier core missions..

ET will focus on customer service and be responsive to the daily needs of the district, schools, teacher and student.   Through shared  governance and decision-making, model ET  will invest wisely and ensure strong returns on technology investments. Through a variety of communication mechanisms, ET will regularly engage members of the district and community to solicit suggestions for improvement.
